What is Rapid Transformational Therapy?

Rapid Transformational TherapyⓇ (RTT) is a scientifically based method that combines techniques from hypnotherapy, neurolinguistic programming (NLP), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and neuroscience to uncover and transform the root causes of life’s most persistent issues. It was developed by the world renowned therapist Marisa Peer who has proven its success for over 30 years. RTT is designed to deliver lasting change rapidly in peoples lives.

RTT can help you with:

- Change habits for a healthier body
- Relieve stress, anxiety and fears/phobias
- Transform relationships
- Break free from addictions
- Perform at your very best

In developing RTT Marisa’s mission was simple: to help you realise you are enough, and to give you the tools to live as if you’ve always known it.

The RTT process

The RTT® treatment is divided into a few simple steps: initial discussion, RTT® session, follow up calls and finally, wiring in results by regularly listening to a personalised audio.

  • Book a free call to discuss how to best address you issues and any concerns or questions you might have around the method.

  • First, schedule a one hour intake session where we deep dive into your current situation to understand your issues at hand.

Then, we schedule your RTT session, typically a 90-120 minute session either at my studio in Lauttasaari, online or perhaps another location as agreed separately.

Finally, schedule follow up calls to follow progress (included) and potential follow up sessions (extra).

  • At the end of your RTT session I record a bespoke recording for you to listen to during 21 days following the session. This is to ensure that the changes we installed during the session are wired in as efficiently as possible to your subconscious mind.

  • Traditional therapy often focuses on talking through challenges over time. RTT® works directly with the subconscious mind to uncover root causes and shift patterns more rapidly.

Many clients appreciate combining insight with practical change.

  • Hypnosis is a completely natural, focused state of mind that you move in and out of every day most likely without even noticing. It happens when you’re daydreaming, getting lost in a good book, or driving a familiar route and suddenly realising you have arrived without thinking much about the journey.

In a session, hypnosis feels a bit like that gentle drifting state — deeply relaxed, calm, and focused at the same time. You are not asleep, unconscious, or out of control. You can hear my voice the whole time, follow along easily, and remain fully aware of what is happening around you.

Think of it as a relaxed state where the busy conscious mind quiets down, making it easier to access the subconscious mind — the part of you where habits, beliefs, emotions, and automatic patterns are stored.

You are always in control during hypnosis, and you cannot be made to do anything against your will. My role is simply to guide you safely into this natural state, where positive change often becomes easier and more lasting.

  • Hypnosis is not about being asleep – it is more about your nervous system drifting into a relaxed state and bypassing the busy chatter of your conscious, thinking mind. You stay fully aware and can hear and understand everything just as usual. However, in this calm and open state of mind, you can access parts of your mind and memory that are normally not accessible to your thinking mind – you can explore your deeply rooted beliefs, emotions and habits. You can answer questions from a perspective of your subconscious, giving yourself a new perspective and a deeper understanding, while being fully in control of your own actions.

The client is always in control during hypnosis, and you cannot be made to do anything against your will or your values. My role is simply to guide you safely into this natural state, where we can access your subconscious and where positive change becomes easier and more lasting.

  • Hypnosis is a natural state that all of us go into throughout the day, so you have already experienced this, probably without realising it. Everyone is different, so some people will go into trance more easily and deeper than others. How quickly or deeply you go into trance has little or no impact on the success of the treatment. In RTT® even a very light trance is sufficient and the induction to hypnosis is very brief, allowing us to spend more time on the therapy part of the session.

  • There are many instances where one session is enough to bring about the change a client is looking for. For overcoming deeply ingrained beliefs or habits, or more complex issues, two or three sessions might be recommended.

At the core of it, RTT® is designed to bring lasting change rapidly and usually 1-3 sessions are recommended, as opposed to years of regular therapy visits. This is what sets RTT® apart from regular talk therapy.

It is however good to remember, that freeing yourself from behavioural problems and belief patterns most often comes in layers. When having addressed one issue, something else might surface, or you might feel ready to tackle another even deeper-seated issue – it is like the classical example of peeling an onion.

Sometimes, when we tackle the very root cause of a client’s core belief, a myriad of symptoms can be released at once, since they were all symptoms of the same root issue.

  • After a hypnotherapy session, you’ll likely feel deeply relaxed, perhaps a bit drowsy at first. Some people feel an immediate shift with a sense of empowerment and fresh insights after the session, while others notice transformative effects unfolding over time. An important part of the RTT treatment is listening to a personalised audio for 21 days after the treatment – this will solidify results by wiring in new beliefs and supportive patterns. The mind learns by repetition, this uses the brain’s natural ability to form new neural pathways through repetition (neuroplasticity) and something we can use to our advantage in RTT®.

  • Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. We're here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.

  • Hypnosis and RTT® works just as well in an online video meeting as it does in person. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a place where you won’t be disturbed throughout the session.

  • No ethical professional can guarantee results, just as no doctor can guarantee the exact outcome of treatment.

However, RTT® has helped many people create meaningful change. Many of my clients come through referrals or return to work on new goals after positive results from their first session.
